Featured Architect: Steven Harris Architects
In the New York City luxury residential townhouse and interiors industry, I would put STEVEN HARRIS ARCHITECTS in the top ten of design firms doing projects today. The firm happens to be doing a full gut renovation of a townhouse on Gramercy Park next to one I’m in the process of completing and I had the chance to walk through the site. I can tell you it is going to be stunning. Amazing features such as a cellar pool (requiring the excavation of almost 30′ below street level!), a three story(!) dressing room, and cutting edge soundproofing details will easily make this home, scheduled for completion in late 2014/early 2015, a candidate for one of the best luxury residences in New York City. After seeing the site, I had to take a closer look at their completed NYC townhouses and apartments. Their website itself is worth a look, but I will showcase some of my favorites here.
